This young man was definitely not doing good yesterday and I honestly wasn’t sure if he would make it through the night. But sometimes a little love, care, and a safe place to rest along with fluids and a miracle goes a long way. Praying he keeps improving. This is a huge improvement compared to yesterday.

This weekend has been a little rough. 3 new intakes on injured raccoons. 2 appear to have been hit by a car, the 3rd one possibly and old injury but has kept him from being able to get food/water and was severely dehydrated and very skinny. So I’m asking again for assistance with vet bills for X-rays. 😞❤️‍🩹

Momma Opossum aka Pinnacle is taking her medicine like a champ and eating great.
She’s still not out of the woods because her wounds were severe even though she is on antibiotics there is always a risk for infection to brew.

My sweet Clementine has been having some health issues. She is 10 weeks old and weighs 1lb. We finally got a diagnosis and it’s not common in cats. She has been diagnosed with Megaesophagus, along with her from arms it’s a congenital birth defect.

Megaesophagus is a condition where the esophagus enlarges and loses its normal muscle movement (motility), making it hard to push food and liquid down into the stomach. This makes her at a high risk for aspiration pneumonia.

We have a long, difficult road ahead as we navigate trying to feed her differently.

But we absolutely love her!

This poor bunny came in with some head trauma. Needs lots of love and prayers!
