We are uniting organizations, centers of faith, sports and entertainment venues, corporations, government officials, celebrities and civic leaders in the fight to end the scourge of sex and human trafficking in all forms.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Lara Logan and Going Rouge for inviting No Trafficking Zone (NTZ) President Jacquelyn Aluotto to participate in this important conversation.

Human trafficking remains one of the most pervasive and misunderstood crimes affecting communities across the nation. We appreciate the opportunity to discuss how trafficking occurs, the tactics traffickers use to exploit vulnerable individuals, and the critical role that No Trafficking Zones play in prevention, awareness, victim advocacy, and community protection.

Platforms like Going Rouge help shine a light on these difficult but necessary conversations, educating the public about the realities of human trafficking and the consequences that can occur when communities lack coordinated anti-trafficking initiatives and victim-centered support systems.

We would like to thank Univision for sitting down with the NTZ team, Jacqueline Altobelli, and Harris County Sheriff’s Office to discuss the National Child ID Program and this important partnership with NTZ and HCSO.

This initiative, in partnership with 2026 FIFA World Cup, will help expand efforts to protect children and support families across Texas. Through this partnership, Harris County Sheriff’s Office will be receiving 60,000 Child ID kits to provide families with critical tools and resources that can assist law enforcement in the event a child goes missing.

Locating missing children is a critical need in Texas, and we must continue building strong community partnerships, innovative solutions, and effective systems that help protect children and support faster recovery efforts. Together, we can increase awareness, strengthen prevention initiatives, and help keep our children safe.

Last week, a powerful and important conversation took place at City Hall. Councilwoman Carter brought together No Trafficking Zone, The Landing, the CAC, Bob’s Ranch, HPD, and the Sheriff’s Office to discuss what human trafficking truly looks like in Houston and across Texas, and how we are working together to combat it.

Each organization at the table serves vulnerable communities in different but critical ways, because human trafficking affects and is in EVERY community. From operating drop-in centers, conducting forensic interviews for children impacted by s*xual abuse and trafficking, and providing housing for boys, to building cases alongside law enforcement, helping survivors navigate the justice system, and advocating for stronger laws, this work requires collaboration at every level.

These organizations are boots on the ground, doing the hard work every day to protect, advocate, educate, and bring hope to survivors.

Thank you to Mayor Whitmire and Councilwoman Carter for creating space for these conversations and for recognizing both the progress being made and the work that still needs to be done.

No Trafficking Zone (NTZ) is honored and grateful to be invited and participate in all the FIFA World Cup Human Tracking Round Table discussion focused on safety, prevention, and awareness surrounding human trafficking. We would like to thank OTIP and HHS for facilitating this critical conversation and for their continued commitment to prevention, protection, and survivor-centered solutions.

As part of this important initiative, NTZ is actively engaged across 5 FIFA World Cup host cities and collaborates with 3 Human Trafficking Task Forces to help strengthen community response, survivor advocacy, education, and prevention efforts.

We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside leaders, organizations, law enforcement, advocates, and community partners who are committed to protecting vulnerable populations and creating safer environments before, during, and after the World Cup.

Together, awareness and inteligence creates action, and action saves lives.

From creating the No Trafficking School Zone Act, to connecting electronic crimes within the zones, learn how NTZ helped make the entire state of Texas a No Trafficking Zone, making human trafficking a first-degree felony punishable by 25–99 years.

No Trafficking Zone was honored to attend the White House National Drug Control Policy Strategy Summit, joining leaders, law enforcement, and advocates from across the country in critical conversations focused on protecting our communities. Many of the human trafficking cases we encounter involve the intersection of financial crimes, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.

We are grateful for the opportunity to discuss how these criminal networks operate and how agencies, advocates, and communities can work together to dismantle them in order to protect every community and every child in America.
