This man is not fit to serve as Mayor of Tallahassee, let alone position himself as an authority on geopolitics. He lacks experience in intelligence reporting, Department of State and Department of Defense strategy, diplomacy, and military affairs.

His views suggest a willingness to downplay or accommodate Russian aggression in Ukraine, ignore Iran’s destabilizing actions in the Middle East, and accept China’s growing influence over our economic future. Leadership requires informed judgment, strategic understanding, and practical experience and those qualities simply are not evident here. Shame on you Jeremy Matlow

This is a great message to continue to push forward which will invite plenty of jobs in the future.

One issue to note: Acquiring and attracting skilled workers to fill these positions is another problem that Tallahassee must deal with. Certain elected officials are resistant to developing the community, but some of the people in these highly skilled jobs will move if they feel the city is an emerging market with plenty of opportunities for growth.

Everything the chamber does should support economic competitiveness and workforce success.
