Good afternoon, it may be a short delay for the Easter Egg Hunt at Jeffords Park due to the weather. If weather permits we will still go on. We will only try to delay it an hour if necessary. However, if we have to cancel it we will still allow citizens to come pick up food and eggs that we were going to hide. So please be patient with us and we will some way somehow still deliver for this event. Thank you!

As of now we’re still aiming to start at 6 PM.

Easter Egg Hunt is less than a month away! Please bring your kids, come out and have an amazing time. We are looking forward to seeing you all there! Special thank you to all the sponsors and the community to make this event possible.

Our City Manager, Chris Davis, acknowledged the many city workers and volunteers from surrounding counties who helped to assist our community during last week's storm. These individuals and their teams worked tirelessly to restore power, clear debris, and keep our citizens safe. We are blessed to have a dedicated team that works together for our community!

Cordele Highway at Eldridge Street is blacked by trees and power lines down. All southbound traffic please detour down Bryant Drive. All northbound traffic please detour on North Isabella Street to Bryant Drive until the roads are cleared.
