Twenty-five years ago, a generation answered the call. Some came home. Some didn't. Today we go out — not to compete, but to remember.

15th Annual Paddle 4 Troops. Sears Landing Grill and Bar, Surf City, NC. 5K and 10K SUP races, with custom paddles by John "Coach" Hastings of Gunny's Engraving going to the podium.

Registration is open at Sears Landing Grill & Boat Docks in Surf City. Come out, paddle, and make a difference.

Fifteen years. Same mission. Never forget.
