🌱 What a fun time harvesting in our Katie’s Krop garden! 🥕💚💜

We had such a great time getting our hands in the soil and enjoying the fruits (and veggies!) of our labor. We’re excited to share that we were able to donate:

🫑 3.5 lbs of green peppers
🌿 2.5 lbs of okra
🍠 16 lbs of sweet potatoes
🍆 1 lb of egg plant

We had so much fun, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to grow, give, and make a difference in our community! 💜💚🌱

Dr. Eugene Sires Elementary School is hosting a Neighbor Choice Produce Distribution on Tuesday, September 15th at 3-5 pm. The location is 301 Chandler Creek Road Summerville, SC 29485. This is a no cost event, and please bring your own bags. Food will be available on a first come, first served basis until all items are gone.

Our students designed and created machines that could help prevent the spread of pollution and protect our planet. 🌎💚 What better way to make a difference than by thinking creatively, solving problems, and putting their STEM skills to work?

The Cardboard Engineering and Wearable Art Design Lab is turning the art room into a full-on STEAM innovation studio where students dream up, build and wear their own creative solutions to real-world problems. Think safety gear, kindness badges and gadgets straight out of a kid's imagination.
