Knowledge is power! 💡☕

Yesterday, we hosted a wonderful health education workshop in collaboration with Planned Parenthood Northern California! Our attendees gained valuable insights on preventative care, wellness, and basic health awareness—all while enjoying fresh drinks served up by our CFL Coffee Shop pop-up! ☕✨

We believe that access to clear, accessible education empowers everyone in our community to live healthy, independent, and informed lives.

Our clients and staff enjoyed a wonderful day of self-care, fun, and connection! From delicious food and refreshing drinks to a helpful workshop focused on personal hygiene, everyone had a chance to relax, learn, and feel their best. 🧖‍♀️🍓🥪🧴

What an amazing day spent walking, connecting, and making memories together! We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for our very first walking group. As we honor this important day of freedom, reflection, and progress, we remain committed to supporting the individuals and families we serve.

We are thrilled to share that Connections For Life has been selected to receive a donation through the Ross Stores, Inc. Store-Based Giving Program!

Not only are we grateful for this generous opportunity, but we're also all pretty big Ross fans around here—so this made the news even more exciting for our team! 😊

These gift cards will help our individuals' access professional clothing, empowering them as they prepare for employment, and greater independence.

Earlier this week, a young woman stopped by Connections For Life simply to share this beautiful piece of artwork with us as a gesture of appreciation. 💙

She was never a participant in our programs and never worked with our team directly — just someone who came across our organization, felt a connection to our mission, and wanted to spread kindness in her own creative way.

Moments like this remind us that compassion, community, and purpose truly reach farther than we sometimes realize. We are incredibly touched by her thoughtfulness and honored that our mission resonated with her in such a meaningful way.

What a beautiful piece of artwork, and an even more beautiful reminder of the impact simple human connection can make. ✨
