Elect Shannon Lauder for Door County Clerk of Circuit Court

09/22/2026

🗳️ 6 weeks until Election Day!

Experience matters — and so does the kind of experience you bring to the job.

I have spent nine years working in Door County government, including seven years on the HHS Management Team, where my work has required leadership, confidentiality, accuracy, budgeting, policy development, process improvement, strategic planning, and collaboration across departments and community partners.

I’ve learned how county government works, how important it is to be a responsible steward of public resources, and how much trust, accountability and attention to detail matter when serving the public.

I’m ready to put that experience to work as your Door County Clerk of Circuit Court.

💙 TUESDAY COUNTDOWN 💙

🗳️ 7 weeks until Election Day!

So…what does the Clerk of Circuit Court actually do?

It’s a question I’ve heard more than once during this campaign!

The Clerk of Circuit Court plays an important role in keeping our court system running efficiently and ensuring the public has access to professional, accurate and reliable service.

The office is responsible for maintaining court records, managing jury processes, collecting and accounting for court-related fees and fines, supporting courtroom operations, and helping people navigate court processes — all while protecting confidential information and following state laws and court requirements.

It’s a role that requires accuracy, organization, sound judgment, leadership. effective communication and a strong commitment to public service.

Over the next several weeks, I’ll share more about how my experience has prepared me for these responsibilities and how I would approach leading the Clerk of Circuit Court’s Office.

7 weeks to go! 💙

💙 TUESDAY COUNTDOWN 💙

🗳️ 8 weeks until Election Day!

It’s hard to believe we’re already in the final eight weeks of this campaign!

Between now and November 3, I’m going to use Tuesdays to count down the weeks and share a little more about who I am, the experience I bring, what the Clerk of Circuit Court does, and how I hope to serve Door County.

I’ll also answer some of the questions I’ve heard along the way — and I’d love to hear yours! What would you like to know about me, my experience, or the Clerk of Circuit Court’s Office? Drop a question in the comments or send me a message.

Most of all, I want to use these next eight weeks to keep listening, learning, and connecting with people throughout Door County.

8 weeks. Lots of conversations still to come.

And so much to be grateful for. 💙

After taking a little time to relax, regroup, and count my blessings after an overwhelming week—in the very best way—we’re ready to keep moving forward! 💙

The amount of love, encouragement, and support I’ve received has been incredible, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has reached out, stopped to talk, sent a message, or simply offered a kind word.

78 days until November 3rd — and there’s plenty of work to do between now and then! I’m looking forward to continuing to be out in our communities, connecting with people and working hard every step of the way.

A few quick campaign updates:

💙 If you have a sign in your yard, I’d
love for you to keep it up!
💙 If you’d like your sign picked up
for any reason, just let me know.
💙 If you’d like a sign, let me know
and we’ll get one to you!
💙 Have room for a larger 4' x 4'
sign? We’ll have those available
this week, too!

Thank you for being part of this and for all the support along the way. I hope to see many of you as we’re out and about in the weeks ahead.

78 days to go — onward to November 3rd! 💙

🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who voted, encouraged me, shared a post, displayed a sign, offered an endorsement, or simply took a moment to wish me well. Every conversation and every show of support has meant more to me than I can say. ❤️

I’m especially grateful to my family, friends, and each of you who believed in me and helped make this possible. I truly could not have done this without you.

I also want to take a moment to recognize the candidates whose campaigns ended tonight. I know how much time, energy, hope, and heart goes into putting yourself out there and asking your community for its support. I have tremendous respect for everyone who stepped forward to serve. To those who did not receive the outcome they hoped for tonight, I’m thinking of you and your families and wish you nothing but the very best in whatever comes next. ❤️

I entered this race because I care deeply about this community and was ready to take on a new challenge and serve Door County in a different way. Your trust in me means more than I can put into words.

Tonight's win is an incredible honor—and one I do not take lightly.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Door County. 💙
