Ballot processing for the June 2 Statewide Primary Election is nearly complete.

Since Election Day, San Joaquin County election workers have counted 135,763 ballots, with approximately 2,700 ballots remaining to be reviewed as part of the official canvass.

Remaining ballots include provisional ballots, conditional voter registration ballots, damaged ballots requiring duplication, and ballots requiring additional review.
