In anticipation of inclement winter weather and to facilitate snow removal, yesterday I announced that residents need to park on the even-numbered side of the street and that a Parking Ban would go into effect beginning today, February 22, at 8:00 AM.

Our Police Department is now ticketing those who are not in compliance. So if you haven't moved your car yet, please do!

The parking ban helps make sure our Department of Public Works can plow the over 800 public roads across our community, and we appreciate everyone's cooperation.

Travel may become extremely difficult or impossible at times today and tomorrow. We urge people to avoid non-essential travel and to stay safe.

I’m excited to share that District 7 will be the first to host a Neighborhood Association meeting next Thursday, February 19th, from 6:00–7:30pm at Wilcoxson School.

As your Town Councilwoman for District 7, I hope to see as many of our residents as possible. This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, hear what’s happening in town, and share your thoughts and ideas directly.

Building stronger connections in our community matters. Every neighborhood has something valuable to offer, and your voice is an important part of that.

If you can’t attend, please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time. I’m always happy to hear from you. You can email me directly at [email protected]

If you can’t make this meeting, don’t worry — there will be more opportunities ahead. I look forward to seeing you next Thursday!

📢 The Town of Stratford's non-essential town buildings, including Town Hall, will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26th, 2026, due to inclement weather. We've also been notified that Stratford Public Schools will be closed tomorrow.

Stay safe as our Department of Public Works and Emergency Management work tirelessly to keep our streets and residents safe during this snowstorm.

If you or anyone you know needs support, please contact the Town's non-emergency line by calling 203-385-4100.

STRATFORD, Conn. – A Winter Storm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Fairfield County starting today, Friday, December 26, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Snow is expected to begin late Friday afternoon and very quickly pick up from light to very heavy between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Roads will quickly become snow covered. Snowfall rates could exceed 2 inches per hour at times this evening. Any slight change in the track of the storm could significantly change the forecast. Based on a blend of the major model forecasts, total accumulation for our region is estimated between 8 and 12 inches.

I’d love to invite my friends, family and the residents of District 7 whom I’m honored to represent to join me for my swearing-in ceremony this Monday, December 8th at Stratford High School!
Doors open at 6:00 PM and the ceremony begins at 6:30 PM.

After the inauguration of all elected officials, I’ll be heading over to Town Hall for the official organizational meeting at 8:00 PM. It would mean so much to have your support as I begin this next chapter. 💙

Small Business Saturday is one of my favorite days to get out in the community and support the incredible local shops that make Stratford special.

I started the morning picking up a beautiful wreath from STARS, grabbed breakfast and coffee at the Drowsey Whaler, and stopped into Mellow Monkey for a little shopping.

Then I headed over to Paradise Green — lunch at The Sitting Duck with Mayor-elect Chess, a visit to Paradise Pizza, a stop into Obodo Serendipity Bookstore, and I wrapped up the day with a cozy tea at Open Door Tea.

So grateful for every small business owner who pours their heart into what they do. Let’s continue to show up for them today and all season long! 💙
