As a Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, I’m used to balancing high-pressure responsibilities with compassion and clear communication. I believe those same skills are essential to serving Stratford’s families and making sure every child gets the education they deserve. My journey into advocacy began in 2019 when my son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Navigating special education ser
vices taught me how vital strong supports are for students and their families. Since then, I’ve spoken out against education budget cuts, served as PTSA Secretary at Johnson House Elementary, chaired events like the Kindness Closet, Booster Fun Run, and Scholastic Book Fair, and recently became Vice Chair of Stratford’s new Special Education PTSA (SEPTSA). My husband Benjy, a Stratford High graduate, and I are raising our children here, and we are deeply rooted in this community. If elected, my priorities are simple:
✔️ Strengthen special education resources
✔️ Ensure equity across all neighborhoods
✔️ Protect the quality of education despite fiscal pressures
I know the challenges parents face because I’ve lived them. Every child deserves the resources, support, and opportunities to succeed. On the Board of Education, I will always be a voice for families and a partner for our schools. 💙
