It would be an honor to serve Stillwater as your next Stillwater City Council Seat 4 representative. Our Mayor and City Council provide outstanding leadership for Stillwater. The critical need for this type of leadership has never been more evident than throughout the COVID crisis — with city leadership making difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions for the collective good of our community. th this open City Council position, it is essential to have continuity of this steady, stable and thoughtful leadership. I've lived in Stillwater for more than 35 years and worked at OSU for 21 of those years. I believe the skills, experience and commitment to service I have developed over these years will prove beneficial in helping our community through this role. Personal background and professional qualifications:
Proven experience and extensive background in data and analytics to drive effective strategies and decision-making processes. In my current role at OSU, our team is spearheading the culture of analytics at an institution that previously relied on raw numbers and static reports to share information with stakeholders. Education
- OSU Bachelors in Secondary Education & Mathematics - 1989
- OSU Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction (emphasis in Information Communication Technology) – July 1993
- OSU Doctorate of Philosophy in Education Studies (emphasis in Research, Evaluation, Measurement and Statistics) – December 1998

Professional Experience
- Taught high school math classes (Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry and AP Calculus) at Perkins-Tryon High School from 1989 through 1999.
- Took a position as a programming analyst in Planning, Budget & Institutional Research at OSU in 1999. Also taught as an adjunct in the College of Education at OSU from Spring 2000 through Fall 2004.
- Became Director of Institutional Research and Information Management (currently name Institutional Research and Analytics) in 2004.
- Become Associate Vice-President for Administration & Finance in 2014. Civic engagement and professional organizations

- Oklahoma Association of Institutional Research
- Southern Association of Institutional Research - member
- Presented at state, regional and national Institutional Research conferences.
- Contributed chapter on the current landscape of analytics in higher education for New Directions For Institutional Research (national professional journal sponsored by the Association for Institutional Research)
- Presented at SAS Global Forum as part of the executive track program.
- OSU Campus Committees: University Planning Council, Tuition & Fees Subcommittee, Assessment & Academic Improvement Council, Task Force To Implement & Monitor OSU Strategic Plan, Undergraduate Retention Task Force, Service Quality Task Force, Graduate Student Support Issues Task Force, Tailgating Policy Taskforce (Chair), Provost Council, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force, Student Success Council, Chaired various search committees (CHRO, HRIM director, University Planner) and have served on other search committees, ERP Implementation Executive Steering Committee
