- All trash must be bagged and in sturdy, tied plastic bags.
- No bag or single item to weigh more than 60 lbs.
- Cardboard must be flattened
- Appliances (remove doors for safety)
- Furniture weighing less than 60 lbs.
- Carpet: Sections of 3 ft. rolled and securely tied. Each roll must weigh less than 60 lbs.
- Oversized/heavy items: One item per court/week

The contractor will not pick up paint cans unless the lid is removed and the paint dried up. Construction debris may be left behind (co-owners are required to rent a dumpster for such items).

๐—ก๐—ข๐—ง๐—œ๐—–๐—˜: ๐—˜๐—š๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—ฆ๐—ฆ ๐—ช๐—œ๐—ก๐——๐—ข๐—ช๐—ฆ. Due to inquiries about egress window installation, a new Rule on the subject has been added to the Handbook to clarify the wording of the Michigan Condominium Act and our Condominium Documents on the topic:

"The Association will not approve Co-owner requests to install egress windows in General Common Element foundations or General Common Element perimeter walls. The Association believes egress windows can adversely impact the soundness and utility of the Condominium and are not in the best interest of the Association."

Please note that egress windows, and egress window wells, cannot be added as building walls and areas outside the building are owned by the Association and are not part of any unit. The Michigan Condominium Act (MLC 559.147) specifically states that unit owners are prohibited from make changes to Association property.

๐—ก๐—˜๐—˜๐—— ๐—ง๐—›๐—˜ ๐——๐—˜๐—–๐—ž ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—œ๐—ก๐—ง๐—˜๐——? Since our regular painter is not painting the buildings until next year, he has some time on his hands. In that regard he's offering deck painting (including power washing, scraping and paint) for $800 to $1200, depending on the size of the deck. As Mill Creek's regular painter, he is well aware of the correct paint color to use.

3) The exterior vinyl trim color for both windows and doorwalls must be similar to the darker gray wood trim on buildings (i.e. medium gray).
4) The trim of the window itself must be white (bordering the glass).
5) The muntin bars must be brown/bronze and in the exact configuration as in the original builder-installed windows. Each muntin "panel/rectangle" must be the exact same size.
6) First floor bathroom window is casement style for all unit models.
7) Screen trim must be gray to match windows/doorwall.

Most all windows within the complex are double hung โ€œcottage styleโ€ windows where the top section has two rows of muntin โ€œpanelsโ€ and the bottom has three rows. The number of โ€œrectangular panelsโ€ per muntin row varies by unit type:
