We are incredibly proud to celebrate the winners of the Avon Theatre Film Center’s 17th Annual "Film Matters" Essay Contest! Stamford Public Schools seniors took first place as well as five of the eight Honorable Mention Awards.
Our talented students blew the judges away with their insightful essays on the power of film and storytelling. Not only did they showcase their incredible voices, but they also earned scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 to help fund their next chapters!
