Stafford Schools Military Families

Stafford Schools Military Families Recognizing frequent moves, we also focus on creating safe, engaging, and welcoming environments to mitigate the impact on academic achievement and well-being.

The purpose of Military Families Advisory Committee is to advise the School Board concerning community perspectives about the school division's military families, their moves to and from Stafford, the supports required, and the Purple Star program. The Military Families Advisory Committee is dedicated to advising the School Board to ensure meaningful post-secondary outcomes for every DoD, military

-connected, and veteran family student, acknowledging the challenges of their transient lifestyle. Through tailored advice in academic support, comprehensive transition assistance, and access to specialized resources, we equip students with resilience and adaptability for success post-graduation, regardless of location. Guided by these goals, the committee will develop and present the School Board with targeted initiatives promoting academic excellence and inclusive communities within our schools.

We are excited to announce a fundraising opportunity for our MBES Military Kids Club! On Monday November 10th, when you dine at the Chipotle on 610 from 4-8PM, 25% of the proceeds will go to our club. We will use these funds to purchase materials for our meetings, to help with the cost of events for our military families, and purchase end of the year gifts for our MKC students.

Don't worry about cooking for the night and help support your own MKC students! See the attached flyer for details. Remember, you must show the flyer or use the code NFNDDFZ if ordering online. Thank you so much!
