Please welcome PVT Koroma to the ! PVT Koroma enlisted as a 68X - Behavioral Health Specialist! She will be using our State and Federal Tuition Assistance to start college next year and also receive $831 a month on top of her monthly drill pay as a result of the amazing job she did on the ASVAB!

🚨Enlistment alert 🚨

It’s been a long road for this guy but we finally crossed the finish line today. I’m so proud of him. He lost weight, lost inches on his waist by putting his nose to the grindstone and putting in the work.

Congrats to PFC Genova for his enlistment into the where he’ll join the 229th MP CO. He served previously in the NC Guard and got out for a year just to decide that service to Country and Commonwealth, along with the benefits his family will receive is an amazing thing.

Once again, I couldn’t be happier for his family and him. Strong work and welcome to the team!

PFC Kiraly enlisted as a 19D - Cavalry Scout and will receive a $20,000 bonus upon completion of training. He’ll also get $24,000 in tuition assistance as well as $831 with the Montgomery GI Bill. He will attend college in the fall and use his Army National Guard benefits to graduate from college debt-free!

This was another special enlistment as his father swore him in! Being a part of an enlistment is a huge deal for me and I’m proud I get to affect change in people’s lives daily!

Please welcome PVT Jones to the Virginia Army National Guard! PVT Jones enlisted as a 25H - Network Communications Systems Specialist.

PVT Jones will be utilizing $20k in state tuition assistance to continues to work toward obtaining his Bachelors degree.

He will receive $831 as part of the Montgomery GI Bill along with the kicker and will receive a $7,500 off-peak ship bonus upon completion of training!

Please welcome SSG Marks to the Virginia Army National Guard team! SSG Marks is coming over from the Army Reserves to continue her service to the United States and also the Commonwealth of Virginia.

She brings 11 years of experience along with a couple of deployments as a 31B - Military Police. She will be an invaluable resource for the 229th MP CO.

Prior to celebrating Thanksgiving, I get to celebrate the enlistments of two awesome people!

First is PVT Chaponan who enlisted as an 09M. She will go to Ft. Jackson, SC where she’ll study to raise her ASVAB score to then pick her job. I’ve been working with PVT Chaponan since June and her resiliency was something to behold. I’m so proud of her! She will be using the to pay up to $24,000 in tuition assistance.

Second, welcome SPC Eldarli. He enlisted as an 88M Motor Transpory Operator and received a $7,500 off-peak ship bonus. He knew exactly what he wanted to do when I first spoke with him and that was to serve the United States and obtain his citizenship. SPC Eldarli is going to make an excellent Soldier.

Please welcome them both to the team!

Come on out to the North Stafford High School game on Friday! It’s Military Appreciation Night sponsored by the ! Yours truly will be in attendance and they’ll be wearing these awesome jerseys.

We’ll have a MATV out there with some subject matter experts to walk people through the vehicle’s capabilities as well as sitting in it and getting a feel for it.

Please welcome PVT Cruz to the team! PVT Cruz enlisted as a 92F - Petroleum Supply Specialist.

He’ll be using his new job to learn a new skill and take advantage of the benefits of joining the Guard to include, healthcare, the Montgomery GI Bill and up to $24k in state and federal tuition assistance.

He also received a $7,500 bonus for shipping to Basic Combat Training during the “off-peak” season.
