Get to know Sparkl West-Pruitt - She was born in Japan and has an extensive travel background while her father was in the Air Force. He retired in Columbus, Ohio where she graduated from high school and quickly moved to Atlanta, GA. Sparkl is married with two children. Sparkl moved to Missouri in 2012 to work for Radio One as the Promotions Director for WFUN & WHHL. Then went to work for iHeart Ra
dio (KMJM & Hallelujah 1600) as their Promotions Director. When she left the radio industry she went back to live concert entertainment and opened her own talent booking/management agency with three offices in the country: Atlanta, St. Louis, and Las Vegas. Sparkl has been an active advocate for children for most of her life. She has supported and held several positions in the PTA (Parent Teacher Association), both in Georgia and Missouri. Most recent: PTA Council President for Hazelwood School District, Events Coordinator for Missouri PTA, and President for East Middle School. Other Community Affiliations:

In addition to PTA, Sparkl has volunteered at several Hazelwood schools in the district, motivating students and assisting teachers. This work has given her the name "True Advocate" as she works hard for the students, teachers, parents, as well as, her community. Since moving to the Hazelwood School District, she has attended most school board meetings every month, served as chair on the budget committee, attended Accountability meetings and led the Jamestown Elementary Student Council. She is always advocating for students to do their best and to receive the best education possible.
