💚 World Su***de Prevention Day 💚
Today, the campaign of Genevieve Taylor for Macomb County Circuit Court Judge joins people around the world in recognizing World Su***de Prevention Day and raising awareness about su***de prevention, mental health, and the importance of reaching out to those who may be struggling.
For Genevieve, this day is deeply personal. She lost her younger brother, Jason, to su***de. His loss forever changed her family and gave her a firsthand understanding that the impact of su***de reaches far beyond one person—it touches parents, siblings, children, friends, and entire communities.
That experience has strengthened Genevieve’s belief in treating people with dignity, compassion, and humanity, especially during the most difficult moments of their lives.
Today, we remember Jason and every life lost to su***de. We stand with the families who carry those losses, the people who are struggling today, and those working every day to prevent another family from experiencing that heartbreak.
You matter. Your life matters. And asking for help is a sign of strength.
If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
💚 In memory of Jason, and in hope for everyone who is still fighting.
