Atai Orphanage Fund www.AtaiOrphanage.org In Agu, Uganda, a small house was built by Annah Emuge in 2003 to shelter 15 homeless, orphaned children.

ALL DONATIONS go towards sending food, medical attention and daily expenses to the orphanage. Our immediate focus is keeping food on the table for our children, and educating those that are secondary and university age. We

send $1500 every 6 months for food. This provides them with two meals a day. Our long-term fundraising goal is to go towards purchasing building materials and supplies for a new roofed structure. These structures are very basic, just enough to get shelter for the kids. So far, the land has been purchased, the site survey has been paid for and we awaiting on a final survey approval from Kampala. This new structure will provide shelter and beds for all of the children of Atai. Currently the weakest and the smallest get to sleep in the first house built by Atai (that Annah's mother,who runs the orphanage, lives in.) The bulk of the children sleep outside (on the ground...only with the clothes they are wearing.) Annah's dream is to create a safe environment for all of her children, a place for them to call home. The compound will have separate dormitories for girls and boys. There will be a kitchen and dinning area, common area, on-site medical facility, school room, and a chapel.

We wanted to thank Simple Church St. Louis for their extremely generous donation of $10,000 and their pledge to donate an ADDITIONAL $10,000 by the end of the year.

This is beyond incredible donation from Simple Church will be used to provide water AND power (via solar panels) to our Orphanage and School currently caring for over 400 children in Uganda. Because of Simple Church, hundreds of children in the village will have access to clean water and electricity. Thank you.
