The 2023 Township Budget here in Springfield Twp. is likely to have some surprises that will impact our Township taxes for 2023. Before we go off half-cocked on thios matter, it might be helpful if we comparative information on the fire services elsewhere in the County. This report is 2 years old, and some of the changes recommended have already taken place.

The fire on Sunday October 9 here in Pleasant Valley prompted me to do some digging. In Upper Bucks our fire services are spread very thin with more of Springfield outside of the Critical Service Area than any other municipality in the County! Only the tremendous cooperation among Ottsville, Riegelsville, Springtown, and outside-the-County newly-merged Saucon Valley Company keeps us safe!
