Arrow Child & Family Ministries Our services and programs impact over 4,000 children, teens and families each year! Together, we’re helping children thrive.

We serve children who have experienced abuse, trauma, or instability through foster care and community-based services. We recruit and train foster families to provide safe, loving homes, while also working to improve the health and stability of families in their own communities. Our Arrow Health Solutions simplifies access to medical equipment and services, and our Arrow Center for Education Schoo

ls in Maryland provides specialized education for children needing alternatives to traditional schools.

A little care can go a long way.

Recently, our Family Centered Treatment (FCT) team came together to help care for our campus through a cleanup project while also sharing messages of encouragement through hand-painted rocks created by one of our FCT families.

The project reflects a meaningful part of the FCT process, where families are encouraged to look outward and give back to their communities. It's a chance to strengthen connections, serve others, and leave a positive impact beyond themselves.

We love seeing the values of compassion, growth, and community come to life through both our staff and the families we serve.💜

Community connection starts with showing up. 💛

Our Brownwood team enjoyed spending time with local families, sharing resources, and building connections within the community. We're grateful for every opportunity to raise awareness, support children and families, and strengthen the communities we serve across Texas!

Out in the community making connections and sharing resources. 💙

Our Foster Parent Recruiter, Ashley Daniels, recently represented Arrow at the Galveston County DFPS Resource Fair, connecting with families, community partners, and individuals interested in learning more about foster care and how they can make a difference.

Every conversation helps create more opportunities for children and families to find the support, stability, and hope they deserve.

If you or someone you know is interested in fostering, adopting, or simply finding ways to support children and families in need, visit arrow.org to learn more and get involved.

Foster parents change lives. Communities help make it possible. 🤍

Our Beaumont team recently celebrated the amazing foster families who continue to say "yes" to children in need. A special thank you to Buckstin Brewing Company Beaumont for being part of the evening and for supporting the foster care community.

The impact of foster care reaches far beyond one home. It takes families, friends, businesses, and entire communities working together to help children thrive.

Today, we're celebrating the foster parents at the heart of that mission.

What does learning look like beyond the classroom? 🏰⚔️

On Higher Education Day, we're celebrating the experiences that help students learn, grow, and discover new possibilities. During a recent visit to Medieval Times, Hunt Valley students explored history, culture, teamwork, and storytelling in a way no textbook could replicate.

At The Arrow Center for Education - Hunt Valley, education is about more than academics. It's about creating opportunities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students connect with the world around them.

Now that's learning brought to life!

⭐ Congratulations to Alan and Patricia White! ⭐

Recently, Region 1 foster families were honored at LIAC's Annual Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner in Lubbock, Texas, and we are proud to celebrate Arrow Therapeutic Foster Care parents Alan and Patricia White, recipients of both the 2026 Shining Star Award and the 2026 Veteran Foster Family Award.

For years, Alan and Patricia have opened their hearts and home to children with unwavering compassion, providing stability, encouragement, and hope when it is needed most. Their dedication, resilience, and servant hearts have made a lasting impact on countless children and families.

During National Reunification Month, we're reminded that foster parents play an important role in helping children feel safe, supported, and cared for while families work toward their goals.

Thank you, Alan and Patricia, for being a shining example of the difference foster parents make every day. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to the Women's Giving Circle of Harford County for their generous grant award supporting Arrow's Mountain Road School.

Through partnerships like this, we are able to empower students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally while preparing them for greater independence and success.

Thank you to the Women's Giving Circle of Harford County for investing in the future of our students and helping us create brighter pathways for the children and families we serve.

💙 June is National Reunification Month.

Reunification is the process of safely returning children in foster care to their families after parents and caregivers have worked to address the challenges that led to placement. It is the primary goal of foster care whenever it can be achieved safely and successfully.

In fact, family reunification is the most common outcome for children exiting foster care, with nearly half of all children who leave foster care returning home to their families. Additionally, about two-thirds of reunifications occur within the first year of a child's entry into foster care.

This month, we celebrate the families who have persevered, the children who have found their way home, and the dedicated professionals, foster families, and support systems who help make healing and restoration possible.

Because when families are supported, hope shines brighter. ✨
