Join us for our second annual Float For The Fallen Memorial Day event. There will be a sunset kayaking paddle down the Little River on the eve of Memorial Day to honor our military men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Kayakers will begin paddling at 6PM followed by a candle release upon return to the start point after sunset. All participants (kayakers & any community member who wishes to attend) will be given a floating candle to release onto the river after sunset. Each candle will be dedicated to a fallen comrade, friend, or family member. Participants will launch the candles to adorn the Little River. For kayakers, the route is 3 miles and takes 1.5 hours to paddle. Kayakers will be picked up and transported back to the start point where they will join the candle release. Tickets include a kayak, paddle, life jacket, transportation, and of course a floating candle dedicated to a loved one. This event is open to the public, free for spectators, and is family and pet friendly.

Attention:

The Annual Spring Fling on Main Street has been postponed until Saturday, May 11th, due to impending unpredictable forecasted weather.

We are sad to have to call it, but safety is always our number one concern when it comes to these types of events.

Our patrons, vendors, and staff remain top priority when there is a chance for unpredictable weather.

Again, we will postpone tomorrow's (4/13/19) Spring Fling on Main Street until May 11th, 2019, but we will be able to offer the same line up of activities as planned.

We appreciate all your enthusiasm, and hope to see you on May 11th.

Spring Lake Chamber is hosting our monthly Coffee Hour next Wednesday, February 27th at The Courtyard by Marriott in Spring Lake! When a member brings a business owner that is NOT a Chamber member, you will BOTH receive a discount on your membership fee! This business owner MUST sign up & pay that day.
