General information

Get Involved Refugee Connections Spokane relies on the support of the community to provide the projects and activities for community members who resettled here as refugees. To donate through PayPal or volunteer to help, click on the tabs on the left side of this page. To help raise awareness, understanding and appreciation of Spokane’s refugees and the refugee experience, we are seeking personal stories from former refugees about life in their home countries, how and why they came to Spokane, and their experience as newcomers here. Selected stories will be posted on this website with permission of the authors. To learn more, discuss story ideas or to submit a story, contact Susan Hales, Director, by phone at (509) 625-6958 or email at [email protected].
