Happy Friday Redeemer Zumba Family!! It’s been over 15 months since we’ve danced together in person at Redeemer!! Can you believe it?!? But……. IN PERSON Zumba is coming back this August!!
A few changes are coming that we’d like to share with you:
1. In the last year plus, I (Kelli) have come to the realization that my season as an instructor has come to an end. The needs of my family are such that I truly feel it’s time to hang up my “Zumba Instructor” shoes. I have loved these past 11 years and want to THANK EVERYONE who has supported me, laughed, danced, and sweat with me along the way! I believe God has seasons of life where He grows us through where He brings us and teaching Zumba, as many of you know, was that “uncomfortable” space for me when I first began.

2. With that, I am excited to announce that our awesome, beloved Zumba ministry at Redeemer will live on with Stefani Cardona leading the way!! Many of you will remember her from some of our Zumba livestreams last year. She is a super fun, incredible instructor who loves Jesus and I know you will all love her!

3. When, you ask, will “in person” Zumba return?!? Zumba at Redeemer is moving to one night a week with the return, Tuesdays at 7pm beginning AUGUST 17th! Still just a $3 drop in “suggested donation” and your punchcards never expire as always!!

4. Zumba at Redeemer class updates will now be on Stefani’s page - Zumba with Stefani @ https://www.facebook.com/Zumba-with-Stefani-545658365578064/

I will be there on the 17th for the WELCOME BACK (and popping in from time to time when life allows) to see all your beautiful faces and shake it with you too! Hope you all will join me in giving Stefani a very warm “Welcome to the Redeemer Zumba family” hello!! Can’t wait to see you all in just a few short weeks!

To all my Redeemer Zumba friends -
These “Covid” times have been difficult for just about everyone - and in so many different ways. I have so enjoyed being able to keep our livestream classes going for these past 7+ months. However, with the juggle these past couple of weeks specifically, working full time, and with the return to “100% virtual schooling” for my four children, it has become very apparent that I need to take a hiatus from teaching at this current time. I say this with such a heavy heart because I have immensely loved teaching for the past 9+ years but this season of life is calling me to be more present in other areas - especially as a mom. Thank you all for having continued to log in week after week and staying with it even through the technical difficulties! I will keep everyone updated as soon as I hear about our return to “in person” classes at Redeemer. Until we dance again friends!!

Hi Redeemer Zumba family!!
First, NO livestream tonight - its over 90* out right now and just not safe! Stay cool friends!!
Wednesday temps look MUCH better so please plan on joining us to dance this Wednesday night @ 6:30pm!!
Second, I’ve reached out to Redeemer to see what the timeframe is for our onsite return (especially with area schools not returning in person) and I am waiting to hear back. They have made so many beautiful updates during this time - just look at the gym!! WOW!! I can’t wait to be back dancing with you all in person BUT don’t worry - we are going to keep live-streaming until we can!! I will let you all know more as I find out info from Redeemer.

These HOT temps are just unrelenting! 🥵 I’ve been checking and was hopeful we’d see a cool down but it doesn’t look good for this week. Sorry friends!! We need to cancel livestream for all our safety again. Looking forward to being back dancing in our gym and hoping we can still count on the September timeline! Until then stay cool, stay safe, and let’s hope Monday brings lower temps to get us back dancing “together!!!!”

Good morning Zumba friends! Looks like the heat just won’t relent this week!! With the Heat Advisory extended I don’t want to endanger the health of ANYONE! With that we will cancel livestream for this week as well - both Monday & Wednesday. Looking ahead it appears we’re seeing a forecast for 10-12* lower next week so hopeful we can get back to it!! Hope everyone can get out before (or well after) it’s too hot and enjoy some sunshine!! Stay safe!

Your health & mine are #1 on my list Zumba friends and it’s just too hot for safety this week!! 🥵🥵🥵 NO Zumba LIVESTREAM this week - Mon or Wed! Hope we’re back in the 80’s next week and can resume dancing together by livestream!! Stay cool and try going out for a “much cooler” late evening walk with friends!!
