The August Primary for State and Federal offices is fast approaching as well as the County General election. Bring a dish and come share thoughts and ideas with like minded Conservatives. Make yourself an informed voter and help to elect leaders who truly have your best interests at heart.

Due to the high interest in Thursday night's planning commission meeting, as well as kindergarten graduation, The Van Buren County Republican Party's meeting for the 14th has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 21st, 6:00pm, in the Burritt College Building at 445 College St. in Spencer, TN.

It's that time again. The primary is behind us and I'd like to express my gratitude to all who had the courage and conviction to put themselves forward. It's a great feeling knowing we have a deep bench in our county party. If you came up short don't be discouraged, there are myriad other ways to serve. Let's roll up our sleeves and work to elect all our nominees in August!

Also congratulations are in order for Miss Macy Frazier and Miss Ellie Grissom as the recipients of this years Van Buren County Republican Party Scholarships. Please join with us in prayers and wishes for their continued success as they work toward a bright future!

Our May meeting will be next Thursday, May 14th, 6:00pm, in the Burritt College Building at 445 College Street, Spencer, TN. 38585. Bring a covered dish or dessert and join with like minded conservatives intent on the betterment of this beautiful place we call home. And if you can't bring a dish, just come hungry, we usually have plenty. All are welcome!!

The Van Buren Republican Party will meet Thursday, April 9th, 6:00pm, at the Burritt College Building, 445 College St. in Spencer, TN.

The format is covered dish, so if you're able bring a dish. If not you are still most welcome. As you can see we always have plenty.

Come and enjoy the comradery of other like minded conservatives and go to the polls as an informed voter!

As the campaign season kicks into full speed you don't want to miss our monthly meeting this Thursday, March 12th, 6:00pm, in the Burritt College Building, 445 College St. in Spencer, TN.

I have confirmation that State House Candidate John Bobo will be joining us. Mr. Harold McCawley has a conflicting school board meeting but assures me he will join us as soon as possible. As candidates are confirmed by the Secretary of State I am extending invitations to all Gubernatorial, Senate, and Congressional candidates.

Any Republican candidates for local office please reach out to me with contact information if I don't already have it so I can be sure and keep you apprised of every opportunity to get your message out to the voters!

So save the date, bring a friend, a family member, a neighbor and enjoy great food (covered dish), great fellowship, and a chance to get to know your candidates!

MEETING REMINDER!!

Don't forget this Thursday night, January 8th, 6:00pm in the Burritt College Building at 445 College St. in Spencer, TN.

State Representative Ron Travis plans to join us to bring us up to speed on the new legislative session that is just beginning!

December was a great success, I hope everyone has enjoyed a healthy and blessed holiday season. Now it's time to roll up those sleeves and do our part to make the 2026 election season a success.
