Compostability is rapidly becoming a widely touted strategy to achieve circularity in packaging. However, what it means to be compostable can be complex, and the path to significant scale-up will take a well-coordinated effort. Panelists representing compostable material R&D, packaging conversion, certification and organics recycling will provide insights to what is required to achieve large-scale adoption. The panel will also discuss near-term strategies that will help advance compostable packaging. https://ecs.page.link/7LwVw

Atlas Organics Vero Beach, Florida

Atlas Organics Vero Beach offers organic compost, natural mulch, and topsoil for bulk pickup or delivery. The OMRI-listed compost we offer sets us apart from other soil suppliers and ensures the highest quality material for our customers.

At our facilities, we use water, aeration, time, and temperature to help break down yard debris and food waste. Which in turn works to eliminate w**d seeds and harmful pathogens. Afterwards, we screen the finished product into multiple sizes as each size has a distinct purpose in use and application.

Atlas Organics caters to farmers, landscape suppliers, land developers, golf courses and backyard gardeners. There is no job too big or too small for Atlas Organics Vero Beach!

Compost is for everyone in EVERY season!

With Spring coming to an end and Summer on the horizon, having compost on hand can be the partner you need to not only sustain plant life but also save water costs and prolong all the hard work you've accomplished so far!

This summer don't forget to:
☀️Spread ½" of Atlas Compost over your lawn to support and help with water retention
☀️When brown spots appear, use compost to bring nutrients back into the soil and help with your lawn maintenance
☀️Add ¼"-½" of Atlas Compost around plants and trees for general upkeep

Remember- “For Healthier Soil, Healthier Food…Compost!”

As we continue in International Compost Awareness Week, did you know using compost has direct environmental benefits?

🌿There are FOUR main benefits to highlight:
1. Avoids High Emission Waste Solutions
2. Builds Community Resiliency
3. Sequesters Carbon
4. Enhances Soil Quality

Compost is so much more than a soil amendment! It's role in impacting climate change and reducing greenhouse gasses makes compost a must have for outdoor projects and a real player in closing the loop for waste diversion.

Atlas Organics and Compost House out in the wild to share about the power of compost with residents and businesses around our locations!

We had the best time celebrating Earth Day in April with non-profits like Clean Memphis & Crabtree Farms. Our team attended several events to give out compost samples, provide free education, and engage with our communities. Sustainability wins when we all understand the important role we each have to play!

If you have an event that you'd like us to attend, don't forget about our event and donation request form! We are always interested in ways to connect with you. We've linked the form here: https://hubs.ly/Q01NZCvl0

Getting compost in as many hands as possible is an important part of why Atlas Organics exists. Throughout the month of April, we were able to donate both our compost and our services to a variety of non-profits, sustainable companies, and local residents across several states!

Check it out! 👇🏼👇🏼

🌵Texas- we donated compost to local residents as part of the City of Shavano Park's Earth Day event
⛰️Oregon- we donated compost to several local schools, a community garden, and a local food bank
🌱Tennessee- we were able to donate our hauling services to Shelby Farms' Earth Day festival and to a local food waste event put on by Clean Memphis
🏫North Carolina- we donated compost to several local schools including the University of North Carolina Asheville and a local community garden where residents could come take compost for free

During International Compost Awareness Week and every other week of the year too, we know that understanding the important role compost has to play in regenerating local soils and encouraging food waste diversion is most easily learned through personal experience. Seeing compost support healthy plant growth and revive soil with your own eyes is the best way to learn and understand why we're so passionate about what we do!

Furthermore, knowing that that compost was created from organic waste that would normally end up in a landfill brings sustainability to your front door in a unique way!

Keep an eye on our socials for this entire ICAW as we highlight more community projects and give practical ways you can begin using compost in your outdoor projects!
