It is official! I am humbled and honored to be elected as the next Municipal Court Judge in Sparks. It has been an incredible journey that I could not have completed without my family, friends, and supporters. I learned so much along the way and I met many amazing people. Thank you to everyone that has pushed me further in this pursuit. I also wanted to acknowledge my competitor, he should be proud for having run an excellent campaign. Thank you to everyone and I look forward to serving the City of Sparks.

Nevada offers early voting!

🗳️You can choose whether to vote on Election Day or during the early voting period, whichever is easier for you. This can be especially helpful if it would be difficult or not possible for you to vote on Election Day.

🗳️Early voting locations may be less crowded, as well.
When can I vote early?

You can vote in person before Election Day between Oct 19 and Nov 1. Dates and times may vary by location.

🗳️Where can I vote early?

Early voting locations may be different from where you vote on Election Day. Check Nevada’s site to find where to vote early.

🗳️What do I need to bring?

If you’ve voted in Nevada before, you do not have to show ID to vote as long as your name appears in the election board register and your signature matches the signature on the record.

If you’re a first-time voter, you may need to show ID to vote. Acceptable forms include:

- driver’s license
- identification card issued by the DMV
- military identification card
- any other form of identification issued by a governmental agency which contains the voter’s signature and physical description or picture

There are two ways to check if your mail-in ballot or early voting ballot was received by Washoe County Registrar of Voters:

🗳️You may check your ballot status by logging into Voter Services. This system tracks early voting as well as mail-in ballots. Information includes when your ballot was mailed, when it was received and if your ballot is being challenged. It will also reflect if you voted in person during early voting.

🗳️You can also view the status of your ballot and sign up to receive automatic emails, SMS (text), or voice call notifications about the status of your ballot by visiting the BallotTrax site available through the Nevada Secretary of State. Visit State of Nevada (ballottrax.net).
