Today is a sad day for the Providence Home family. Jane Love, a Providence Home founder, who passed peacefully on December 14, was laid to rest today in Charlotte, NC. Jane and her husband, the late Jimmy Love, were two of the founding members of Providence Home and her love and influence will be greatly missed.

We are saddened by the news of the passing of former Providence Home Board Member, Dr. Jonathan Richmond, who selflessly served the teens of Brunswick County from 2007 to 2014. Prayers and blessings for his family and those who knew him.

Dr. Jonathan Young Richmond, 77, of Southport passed away on June 27, 2018.

Providence Home shelters youth ages 10-17 who must attend school, can't abuse drugs or alcohol, and don't have psychiatric problems.
