Have you thought about how you could prepare yourself and your pet for a disaster that displaced you from your home?

As part of National Preparedness Month, FEMA region 1 will be holding several in-person events, virtual trainings, preparedness computations, and preparedness webinars including one on Pet Preparedness.

A Pet Preparedness webinar will be held on Wednesday, September 4th from 12pm- 1pm.

In this presentation, participants will learn about pet preparedness before, during, and after a disaster.

The Carteret Emergency Management (OEM) and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) are hosting an Introduction to CERT class on Wednesday, July 10th, at 7:00 PM.

The experience and expertise of all Law Enforcement, Fire, EMT, Medical, Military, Hazmat, Corrections Officers, Post Members, Scouts, Explorers, Emergency Service, and Search and Rescue being active or retired are welcome, including Jr. Cadets starting at age 14 years.
