South Houston Intermediate is a 7th and 8th grade campus in Pasadena ISD. It moved to its current location at 900 College Avenue in South Houston in the mid-1980s. List of Principals:

Today, our incredible Newcomer EB students took center stage in the SHI library, sharing powerful presentations about their future careers, their home countries, and their life journeys to the United States. 🌍 Their courage, growth, and hard work were on full display, and we are so proud of each and every student who presented. 💙 Thank you to everyone who came out to listen, support, and celebrate these amazing storytellers!✨Voces Estudiantiles en SHI ✨ Hoy, nuestros increíbles estudiantes Newcomer EB tomaron el escenario en la biblioteca de SHI, compartiendo presentaciones poderosas sobre sus futuras carreras, sus países de origen y sus trayectorias de vida hacia los Estados Unidos. 🌍

We are excited to share that our South Houston Intermediate Student Council has been recognized by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) as a recipient of the TEPSA Student Leadership Award! 🎉
Established in 2018, this award honors outstanding student leadership teams across Texas who are making a meaningful impact in their school communities. 💙
