MEET AMY
Amy learned at an early age that her love for color, pattern, and creative thinking have great transformational power. Her creative powers were fully unleashed when she started planning her son’s first birthday. Amy’s passion for students, her love of party planning, and her creativity led her to host art camps and workshops for all ages. Whether it’s in her home studio, at your kitchen t

able or the many event sites, she believes in cultivating a colorful and vibrant environment where all are encouraged, nurtured, and inspired to flourish creatively. And having a blast while doing so! Amy is the creative force behind Very Amy Creative Design. She is a self-taught graphic designer specializing in children’s party goods, art prints and surface pattern design. She's sold her work on Etsy under multiple shops names, Teachers Paying Teachers, and Jane.com just to name a few. She has an obsession with stickers, patterned paper, watercolors, scrapbooking supplies, markers, and making adorable banners. Let’s face it, she loves it all! When she’s not creating, you’ll find Amy with a Diet Coke in hand, reminding her son to empty the garbage, watching sports with her husband, Mike, or substitute teaching at Yorkville Christian High School. Very Amy CREATIVE DESIGN, formerly Amy Mattes Designs, has gone through a rebranding in the past year. Currently, Amy is working on consolidating her multiple Etsy shops and is planning a Grand Reopening in late summer 2023. VERY AMY ART CAMPS & WORKSHOPS

Just so you know, I'm flexible on sessions if you have multiple children enrolling so it's easier for you to not run back and forth numerous times.

Art Camp was a success! We finished with our art show and the girls were so proud as they presented their work. The last couple days we did gel prints, watercolor butterflies and finished up our landscape paintings.☺️

We used egg cartons to create animals. Did some gel printing, credit card painting and landscape paintings.
