Fire District No.1 was recently notified that it will receive $19,000 through the FY26 Firefighter Safety and Equipment Grant Program. These funds will be used to purchase needed equipment to help protect our firefighters in the performance of their daily duties.

We need your help. If you have a fire hydrant on your property, please clear the snow away 3ft in all directions. In the event of a fire it is critical that we can access the hydrant quickly. Lives depend on it.

Our crews are out shoveling when possible.

We have had crews out every day this week clearing snow from fire hydrants. We are asking for your help. If you have a hydrant in front of your home please clear the show away if you have not already. We need 3ft all the way around to allow us to quickly establish a water supply for a fire. If you are not physically able to do so please contact the fire station, and we will clear it. Thank you for your help! 533-7112
