A big THANK YOU to all of our South Gate city staff, the Public Works Department, environmental organizations, local businesses, volunteers, and all that participated in the City of South Gate's Earth Day Event! A record number of 310+ volunteers came to celebrate Earth Day and participate in our community cleanup, graffiti removal, and tree planting activities. Together, we can achieve a healthier, cleaner, and greener South Gate for all!

The 2nd Annual LA River Cleanup is coming up on Saturday, February 6th from 9am-12pm! Join the students of Aspire Firestone Academy by picking up trash by the river before it ends up in our oceans! This event is open to everyone in the community. See you there!
