Common Council President Lee and Vice President Niezgodski recently toured the STARBASE South Bend location, a Department of Defense-sponsored initiative. This program focuses on engaging with young students through hands-on STEAM education. 💫

From interactive experiments to real-world career exploration with military personnel, STARBASE is helping students build confidence, set goals, and discover future opportunities in science, technology, engineering & art/design, and mathematics (STEAM). 👏💡

Clerk Tirado plays a vital role in ensuring an open, honest, and transparent municipal government. This past Saturday, 2nd District Councilwoman Gooden-Rodgers hosted a neighborhood clean-up!

Even small neighborhood cleanups improve local spaces, build community pride, and inspire others to take action. They show that meaningful change doesn’t require huge numbers, just people who care enough to start.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and proved that when we work together, real change happens.
