Family Preparedness Planning Event! It was a wonderful turnout for such an important responsibility for every family to undertake. Thank you so much to the Notre Dame Immigration Law Clinic (Professor Ashley Sanchez and her students), Catholic Charities of Fort Wayne - South Bend, and the many public notaries who volunteered their time to help our families complete their plans.

Our ministry will keep packets available if you need one, and we can connect you to someone to notarize signatures!

Come to our meetings the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, 11am, in the St. Adalbert Church Office, message us here, or join our WhatsApp group to get updates!

¡Evento de Planificación de Preparación Familiar! Tuvimos una excelente participación en una responsabilidad tan importante que toda familia debería realizar. Muchísimas gracias a la Clínica de Derecho de Inmigración de Notre Dame (la profesora Ashley Sánchez y sus estudiantes), a Catholic Charities de Fort Wayne/South Bend, y a los muchos notarios públicos que ofrecieron su tiempo para ayudar a nuestras familias a completar sus planes.

Toda familia debe contar con un Plan de Preparación Familiar en caso de una emergencia. Ya sea por enfermedad, viaje, detención u otra situación inesperada, es importante asegurarse de que sus hijos y seres queridos estén protegidos y bien cuidados.

En este evento, tendrán la oportunidad de completar documentos importantes, como la designación de una persona encargada del cuidado de sus hijos si uno de los padres no está presente. Habrá expertos legales disponibles para responder sus preguntas y un notario público (solo notarización de firmas) estará presente para formalizar y dar validez legal a los documentos que completen.

Tomar estas medidas puede brindar tranquilidad y ayudar a garantizar que sus deseos queden claramente establecidos por escrito.

Voter registration at Sts. Casimir & Adalbert Parish, South Bend, IN:
• The St. Joseph County Latino Democratic group members (with the League of Women Voters) will be at tables outside the St. Adalbert School Hall (if weather permits) or inside the St. Adalbert School Hall 11am - 1pm and outside of St. Casimir Church near the St. Casimir school doors (if weather permits) or inside the St. Casimir School room with the handicap ramp (behind the church) 12:30pm - 2:00pm, this Sunday, March 15, and again on Sundays March 22 and 29 from to assist all eligible voters in registering to vote (or to check the status of your voter registration to see if it is still current and valid) before the May 5 primary election. We invite you to stop by and register to vote!

You must be registered to vote by April 6, 2026 to vote in the May 5, 2026 primary election.

• All eligible voters must be U.S. citizens who will be 18 years old or older before the next general election on November 3, 2026 in order to register to vote.

• Voter registration is non-partisan and you will need a valid Indiana Driver license or state ID

• Early voting starts on April 7, 2026 for the primary election
