This weekend we had a major tractor accident in the Papalote area. We were able to get to the gentlemen in the Fire Chiefs personal truck and get him to the ambulance who worked on him and took him to our halo pad. He did survive but now we are looking to get a UTV for incidents like this. We will be taking donations and also using the money we make from our cookoff. If you know a UTV provider that would like to donate one please let us know. Something similar to this.

The Skidmore and Papalote Volunteer Fire Departments recently took delivery of their new water tenders. These additions will significantly enhance firefighting capabilities in South Bee County. Notably, Skidmore had not had a tender for 8 years, previously relying on Papalote's 2,000-gallon tender. With the new tenders, the departments can now respond with a combined 10,000 gallons of water. This achievement was made possible through recent state funding, successful fundraising efforts, and ongoing community support.
