Okra season is here, y’all 🌱💚 This little pod has been a southern favorite for generations, and for good reason—it’s tender, flavorful, and so versatile in the kitchen.
Whether you toss it in a skillet, stir it into a pot of soup, or roast it up until it’s nice and smoky, okra brings all that southern comfort to your plate.
We’ve been picking fresh heirloom okra from our fields this week, and we’d love to share it with you. Come say hi at the Clemson Farmers Market on Wednesdays (3:30–6:30 p.m.) or at the Travelers Rest Market on Saturdays (8:30 a.m.–12 p.m.).
