We want to encourage you to take advantage of the summer reading program offered at the public library. We are so lucky to have a library so close to our school! The Morningside Public Library offers a wonderful summer reading program where your child can earn rewards for reading throughout the summer.
On their first visit, your child will be able to pick out a free book. Families can download the Beanstalk app to track summer reading, or you may simply record books and reading hours on paper.
We have worked so hard this school year, and continuing to read over the summer will help your child stay confident and prepared to tackle the next grade level. Thank you for supporting your child’s reading journey!

REMINDER
The Free Summer Meal Program will begin TODAY (Monday, June 1). Meals will be available Monday through Friday for all children ages 1-18 without charge.

Thursday was all about tacos! We had tacos for hot lunch, staff was treated to a taco truck, our principal was a walking taco telling bad taco jokes to the students at lunch. Thank you to Tacos Ramirez El Primo and Mrs. Vanderloo for the great lunch for all staff.
