Thank you to our First Responders!

Simsbury Volunteer Ambulance Association

May 2026 was another busy month for Simsbury Volunteer Ambulance Association. Our dedicated EMTs, Paramedics, and volunteers responded to 262 emergency calls, providing timely medical care throughout our community. Of those calls, 163 patients were transported to area hospitals, representing 68% of all responses. Mutual aid remained balanced, with SVAA providing assistance to neighboring communities 24 times while receiving mutual aid on 25 occasions. We are grateful for the continued support of our residents and proud of the commitment our crews demonstrate every day in serving Simsbury and the surrounding region.

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and mutual aid partners for helping us deliver exceptional emergency medical care 24/7. 🚑❤️
