We want to make sure you are getting the information you need from Siloam Springs Schools.

This year, we have moved to one app for district, school, classroom, and family communication. If you have not downloaded the Siloam Springs Schools app, you may be missing important updates and messages.

The app gives you one place to receive:

• District news and announcements
• School updates
• Messages from teachers and staff
• Important reminders and alerts
• Information about events, activities, and more

If you have not downloaded the app yet, please take a few minutes to do so.

The easiest way to use the system is to link your account using your phone number. This helps make sure your student is connected to your account and that you receive messages sent through the system.

If you are having trouble getting into the app or receiving messages, we can help. Contact Central Office, and we will help you get connected and make sure you are receiving the information you need.

If you already have the app, make sure your notifications are turned on so you do not miss important messages.

If you can check your email and send a text message, you can use this system.

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and it's a great opportunity to reflect on something simple but powerful: consistent attendance is one of the strongest indicators of student success.

Research consistently shows that students who attend school regularly perform better academically, build stronger relationships with peers and teachers, and develop the habits that serve them well beyond the classroom.

We understand that illness and unavoidable circumstances arise, and we're grateful for families who communicate with us during those times. What we're asking is simple: when possible, help us protect instructional time by scheduling appointments outside school hours and encouraging your student toward consistent, on-time attendance. By doing so we make sure our Panthers are present, ready to learn, and equipped to succeed every day!

Thank you for being true partners in your child's education. It truly is work that matters!

Congratulations to Jadon Ho on being named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist!

Jadon is among an exceptional group of high school seniors across the country to earn this distinction, placing him in the top 1% of graduating seniors nationwide.

This achievement can open significant opportunities for students as they plan for college. National Merit recognition can lead to substantial scholarship support, including awards that cover tuition, room and board, and other educational expenses.

We are incredibly proud of Jadon and this well-deserved recognition of his academic achievement.

At Siloam Springs Schools, we are grateful for partners who invest in our students and help remove barriers to learning.

Siloam Springs Schools and Bright Futures are proud to celebrate a $3,000 grant from the La-Z- Boy Foundation.

This generous donation will directly support students in two important ways:

Food Pantry Support: Helping keep our food pantry stocked so students have access to healthy food and can focus on learning.

Vision Assistance: Helping ensure students have the vision support they need to see clearly and fully participate in the classroom.

When students have what they need to learn, they have more opportunities to succeed.

Thank you to the La-Z- Boy Foundation for investing in our students and helping Bright Futures make a difference for children in our community.

Big things happening in the show ring!

Congratulations to Hunter Stanfill on an outstanding showing at the Washington County Fair!

Hunter brought home:

• Supreme Champion Ram
• Grand Champion Dorper Ram
• Reserve Champion White Dorper Ram
• Reserve Champion White Dorper Ewe

We are proud of Hunter and the hard work and dedication he put into preparing for this competition.
