Effective immediately, all firefighters must knock before entering a burning building to respect the homeowner's privacy.

Additionally, the department has switched to a 10-minute snooze policy on all fire alarms to allow residents adequate time to wake up and prepare for evacuation in an orderly fashion.

We feel this is a more courteous approach to emergency response.

Hello fire families!!

We are planning to do the Easter Egg Hunt on 3/29. We would like to get an idea of how many may participate (please comment if you can make it on that date).

We will also need some help to fill and hide eggs, set up snacks, crafts, etc. If you have time and can help on 3/29, please let us know. 🧺🥚

Rummage Sale Fundraiser & Lemonade Stand

Spring Cleaning your house? Just want the clutter out? Donate your unwanted items for a good cause.

The SVFMS Auxiliary is hosting a yard sale on Sunday, March 15th, 7 am - 1 pm. All proceeds go to supporting the Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Services Auxiliary and their mission.
The Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Services Auxiliary is dedicated to supporting firefighter families, enhancing department morale while serving our community through unity, outreach and compassion.

100% of the proceeds are donated to the SVFMS Auxiliary

All Donated items can be dropped off to Angela Workman on:

Friday, March 13th, between 12 and 4 pm
Or - Saturday, March 14th, during Set-up between 1-3 pm

If you are interested in helping with the event, we could use help with…

• Set up for the event on Saturday, March 13th, between 2-4 pm
• Sunday’s Yard Sale:
7 am - 9 am
9 am - 11 am
11 am - 1 Pm
• Tables for the event (if you have a folding table that we could borrow)
• Garage Sale Signs donated (x3)
• Donated Hangers for Clothing Items
