NCNA is proud to sponsor the outdoor stage at the North City Jazz Walk. A community grant from the City of Shoreline City Hall enabled us to provide free entertainment so residents of North City can enjoy the North City Jazz Walk! Next Tuesday August 12, 15th Avenue NE will be closed so we can come together as a community and celebrate music, food trucks, and face painting for the kids :)
Nothin' says North City Jazz Walk like a night out under the stars listening to Hook Me Up Band. From the 1920's "Great Gatsby" sound, to the smooth sounds of The Girl From Ipanema, or the melodies of Herb Alpert, Chuck Mangione, and Louis Armstrong, this Tacoma-based quartet has been a crowd-popular mainstay at the Walk, and we're always honored to have them back.
Hook Me Up will be playing outdoors at our other free venue #5, located in front of Frank Lumber, flanked by a beer and wine garden sponsored by both the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park Rotary Clubs.
Our sincere gratitude to the North City Neighborhood Association who sponsored these musicians and have been a tremendous help to the North City Jazz Walk.
