🇺🇸 Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony 🇺🇸

Join us on Monday, May 25th, to honor and remember those who served.

The parade lineup will begin at 9:00 AM on Lang Road, with step-off at 9:30 AM.

The parade route will begin in front of the West Shokan Post Office, travel along Route 28A, continue up Watson Hollow Road, and end at Lester S. Davis Park.

Following the parade, a Memorial Day ceremony will be held under the pavilion at the park.

A reminder that some people run toward the emergencies everyone else is running from.

They show up on the worst days of people’s lives.
The car accidents.
The overdoses.
The heart attacks.
The terrifying moments when someone’s world changes in seconds.

And somehow…
they stay calm through all of it.

EMS workers miss holidays.
Skip meals.
Work exhausting hours.
Carry trauma most people will never see.
And still continue showing up to save strangers every single day.

So today, thank the paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and first responders who answer calls most of us pray we never have to make.

Because behind every siren is someone trying to save a life.
