Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation.
We remember the innocent lives lost, honor the brave first responders who ran toward danger, and recognize the countless heroes whose courage and sacrifice showed the strength of the American spirit.
Twenty-five years later, may we never forget the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the way our country came together as one.
Honor the fallen. Thank the heroes. Cherish our freedom.
September 11, 2001
Always Remember. Never Forget.

🚨 HUMMINGBIRD MIGRATION HAS BEGUN! 🚨

If you feed hummingbirds locally, now is the time to keep those feeders extra clean and fresh! These tiny travelers are fueling up for a massive journey south, and a quick pit stop at your yard can make all the difference.

Quick Tips to Support Our Feeder Friends:

Clean & Refill: Swap nectar and wash feeders every 2–3 days (or daily in high heat) to prevent dangerous mold and bacteria.
Simple Nectar Recipe: Mix 1 part plain white sugar to 4 parts water. Boil briefly to dissolve, let it cool completely, and fill.
No Red Dye: Avoid red food coloring or premixed red syrups—it can harm their organs. Plain sugar water is all they need.
Keep Them Up: Leave your feeders out until you haven't seen a bird for two full weeks. Some suggest after Halloween. Don't worry—keeping feeders up won't stop them from migrating; it just gives late stragglers a vital lifeline!
Let’s give these little speedsters the ultimate pit stop for their long flight ahead.
