On Monday, June 1st, WEFR personnel responded to 2 incidents:

0715hrs: Engine 15-1, Engine 15-2, Tower 15, and Car 15 (9 personnel) responded to 425 Herwin Dr., Box 15-6, for a inside smoke investigation.

1455hrs: Engine 15-1, Rescue 15, Car 15, and Car 15-2 (11 personnel) responded to 10016 Molly Pitcher Hwy, Box 15-6, for a vehicle accident.

Friday, May 29th:
0938hrs: Engine 15-1 transferred with 3 to Buchannan Valley Fire Company, Adams County Co. 27, while they operated on a silo fire.

1558hrs: Rescue 15, Tower 15, and Car 15-2 (8 personnel) reponded to 19 Koser Rd., Box 249-01, for a vehicle into a structure.

Saturday, May 30th:
1237hrs: Rescue 15 (5 personnel) responded to the intersection of Mud Level Rd. and Duncan Rd., Box 252-106, for a vehicle accident.

Sunday, May 31st:
0936hrs: Engine 15-1 and Car 15-1 (6 personnel) responded to I-81 NB @ mm 21.5, Box 7-81-15, for a vehicle fire.

1809hrs: Engine 15-1, Rescue 15, and Car 15-1 (8 personnel) responded to the intersection of Hostetter Ave and Possum Hollow Rd., Box 15-6, for a medical.

On Wednesday, May 27th, WEFR personnel responded to 2 incidents:

1306hrs: Engine 15-1 (6 personnel) responded to 250 S. Conestoga Dr., Box 152-01, for a fire alarm.

2008hrs: Engine 15-1, Engine 15-2, Tower 15, Car 15, Car 15-1, and Utility 15 (16 personnel) responded to 228 Hollar Dr., Box 4-01, for a garage fire.

We are excited to announce that West End’s 1935 International Antique Fire Engine is now proudly displayed at Shively Motors of Shippensburg’s Auto Museum! 🚒

A huge thank you to Shively Motors for working with us and helping preserve a piece of local fire service history for the community to enjoy.

Be sure to stop by the museum, check out all the amazing vehicles on display, and take a look at our antique fire engine while you’re there!

We appreciate the continued support from our community in keeping our history alive.

Today, we had the distinct honor, along with the Shippensburg Community Fair Queen Rory Jones, and our new fair queen and little miss representatives, to join the community in remembering those who gave it all in this years Memorial Day Parade.

Members embraced carrying the colors with honor and in remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives so that we could be free.

Thank you for your courage, your loyalty, and your willingness.
