Early voting starts, and while many people see the front side of elections, I want to share a little about what I do every single day.

My job isn’t just elections. It’s helping people when they call or walk through our doors. It’s filing and protecting important records, handling payroll, keeping things organized, training workers, and making sure I’m doing my part for our office to run the way it should. Some days are busy, some days are challenging, but every day is about serving the people of Grant County.

For the past 8.5 years, I’ve been there doing the work, learning every part of the job, and being someone others can depend on. I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

As early voting begins, I just want to say how proud I am to serve this county and these people. This work means a lot to me, and I would truly appreciate your support and your vote.

FCCLA Concessions are available for cash purchase. 🔹️ The event will conclude at 4:00pm and will offer you the opportunity of connecting with candidates, Candidate Stump Speeches, and the chance of collecting your favorite campaign swag! 🔹️

‼ ROCK THE VOTE POSTPONED‼ Due to damage sustained during this historic winter storm, the Sheridan Recreation Center experienced failure of several attic ventilation units caused by extreme sleet and ice accumulation. This has resulted in active water intrusion in a portion of the facility.

As a precaution, a hallway within the building has been temporarily closed while repairs and assessments are underway. This closure impacts normal interior circulation, including access to the gym and certain emergency exit routes.

While the structure of the building remains sound, we are unable to ensure full and appropriate access and egress for all participants at this time.

Due to the above, Rock the Vote will be rescheduled for a later time and not occur tomorrow, Saturday, January 31

We’ve been out today putting up campaign signs. If you’d like a sign in your yard, please let us know. We’d be happy to bring one by.

So greatful for our crew. We have had many great opportunities around Grant County. Speaking at Leola City Hall, prattsville City Hall and Fire Department Cane Creek Fire Department. Helping out with the Keep Sheridan Clean. Going to BINGO Night put on by the Chamber and Grant County Young Professionals, The Christmas Parade 🎄 This journey has been filled with so much energy and joy every step of the way. Nothing short of amazing. Looking forward to what's ahead! See you in March!

Blessed is an understatement!
I had pure joy getting to see everyone at the Grant County Fall Festival. I loved seeing all the fun costumes, meeting new people, and running into friends I haven’t had the chance to see in a while.

In my job we’re public servants, and I usually only get to see a few folks in the office — but it sure was nice getting to be a public servant out in the community at the Fall Festival too.

It really does take a village, and I’m so thankful for everyone who helped — from working the booth, walking Levi around to get candy, to letting me borrow a costume. It all meant so much to me. 💛

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to play our ring toss and to everyone who helped make the Grant County Fall Festival happen!
