You may have noticed the Shelby County Courthouse is pink at night, and if you look throughout the city and county, you may notice more. Together with our colleagues at the City of Shelbyville, Shelby County is honoring the life of Hailey Buzbee by shining her favorite color, and hopefully by shining a light on online safety for children. Parents, let’s have the tough conversation with our kids about the dangers of online predators.

I am honored to announce my candidacy for Shelby County Coroner

As a lifelong resident of Shelby County, I have devoted my career to serving others with compassion, integrity, and respect. I bring 10 years of medical experience and 7 years of public safety service, along with the privilege of serving as a Deputy Coroner for the past three years. These experiences have prepared me to uphold the responsibilities of this office with professionalism and care.

My family and I are deeply rooted in Shelby County, and our commitment to this community runs strong. I believe the role of Coroner is not only about responsibility, but about trust, dignity, and being a voice for families and for those who cannot speak for themselves.

I am committed to continuing my service with empathy, dedication, and fairness. I look forward to earning your support as we work together to uphold the values that make Shelby County such a special place to call home.
