COURTESY POST for Shelby County School Board (Dist. 4) candidate Jamie Tipton.
Hello my name is Jamie Tipton and I’ve decided to run for Shelby County School Board, District 4. My wife GaiLynn and I have four wonderful kids. Three of them will be in elementary and middle school this coming year.

Over the years, I’ve noticed the decisions being made by the school board and how things were ran were not in the best interest for the kids and the tax payer. Taxes are being raised all the time and somehow the public school system says there’s not enough money. We need accountability of the funds and bring back common sense decision making.

I want to be the honest voice for District 4 and do what is right for the kids because they are the future. I’ll appreciate your vote this November 3rd.
