We are proud to share that We R One Outreach successfully hosted our inaugural outreach event!

Because of the generosity and support of our community, we were able to:

🍽️ Feed 30 individuals
🩺 Distribute 20 Narcan kits
🧴 Hand out 30 hygiene bags

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated supplies, contributed financially, shared our posts, offered encouragement, and believed in our mission. Your support made this event possible and allowed us to serve our unhoused neighbors with dignity, compassion, and care.

This is just the beginning. Together, we are making a difference one person, one act of kindness, and one outreach event at a time.

We will have:
🧴 10 care bags for the ladies
🪥 10 care bags for the men

🍽️ We will also be serving:
• Lasagna
• Garlic bread
• Oatmeal pies
• Various beverages

Looks like we’re going to have clear weather for Saturday’s outreach, and we’re grateful for that blessing. 💙

I picked up more Narcan today, and I’ll be working on putting together hygiene bags for our unhoused neighbors. Every item packed is a reminder that someone cares and that no one is forgotten.

🌧️ Weather Update – We R One Outreach 🌧️

We are currently scheduled to have our outreach event this Saturday; however, thunderstorms are in the forecast. We are closely monitoring the weather and are hopeful that we will still be able to move forward with the event safely.

📢 Event Update – We R One Outreach

We want to thank everyone for the support and excitement surrounding our upcoming Inaugural Community Outreach.

Due to a required training that I must complete out of town, this weekend’s event has been rescheduled. While this was not an easy decision, it is important that I continue to grow and gain the knowledge needed to better serve our community.

🕛 Time: 12:00 PM
📍 Location: Jennings Street at the Park

We are still committed to providing hot meals, Narcan, feminine hygiene products, and essential hygiene items to our unhoused neighbors, and we look forward to serving you on the new date.

Good morning.
This morning I received a call from one of our unhoused neighbors letting me know someone nearby overdosed last night. Thankfully, they survived. Today, I was able to deliver Narcan—because moments like this remind us how important it is to be prepared and show up for our community.

We will continue to do this work with compassion, urgency, and purpose.
