I’ve had quite a few people reach out to me lately about some similarities they’ve noticed between my work and another local artist’s work.

I genuinely appreciate everyone who takes the time to bring things to my attention. 🤍 I’ve always believed there’s a difference between being inspired by another artist and directly recreating ideas they’ve developed.

I’m going to keep doing what I do and creating things that feel authentically mine. 🫶🏻

A little reminder from one artist to another:
Inspiration is wonderful. It’s how art evolves. ❤️

But when you find yourself recreating another artist’s designs, using the same very specific elements, and following their ideas almost immediately after they’re posted… maybe it’s time to step back and ask, “How can I make this mine?”

There is absolutely room for everyone. I believe that wholeheartedly.

Just leave a little room for originality, too. 😉

Meanwhile, I’m busy creating for all of you!
